Do not contact

Tell us to stop holding or using an address, and we will.

Effective date: pending founder review

This is a complete draft, published so it can be read and corrected. It has not been adopted and nothing on this page is in force yet. When it is adopted this notice is replaced by a real effective date.

What this form does

Give us an email address or a whole domain and we will record a request to stop holding or using it. You do not need an account, and we will not ask you to prove who you are.

What happens, honestly. Your request is written down and reviewed by a person, who removes the address from our data and adds it to the list we build against. This is not instant. We are not going to tell you the address is blocked the moment you press the button, because right now that would not be true: the form records the request; a human acts on it. If that changes, this paragraph changes with it.

A request for a domain covers every address at it.

Do not look me up by name

Give us your name, and if you like the state or city you live or do business in, and our service will not answer a question about you by name. Once your request is recorded, a lookup by name that matches it is refused, and nothing about it is billed to anyone. A name without a place covers the name anywhere.

Make a request

A single address, or a domain to cover everyone at it.

Fill in an address, a name, or both.

If you want the data deleted rather than only suppressed, say so here. You do not have to give a reason at all.

We answer the same way whether or not the address is one we hold. That is deliberate: a page that told you whether we have somebody would be a directory of who we have.

If you want more than this

To ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted outright, write to us at support@supersoniq.co, or say so in the reason field above and we will treat this as that request. See the privacy page for what we hold and how long we keep it.

A record that somebody asked not to be contacted is kept indefinitely, on purpose, even when everything else about them is deleted. Deleting the suppression record is how a person gets contacted again.
